19 января Веселова поместили в барак отдельно от других заключенных. Его мать считает, что давление оказывают из-за жалобы прокурору.
Еще в декабре Веселов рассказал об условиях в карцере: «Я нахожусь в карцере, где не могу даже пользоваться туалетной бумагой. С меня содрали нательное белье, у меня изъяли туалетную бумагу, записи по уголовному делу. Здесь очень холодно».
С 2022 года против блогера возбудили пять уголовных дел — большинство из них связаны с пацифистскими высказываниями.
