А сегодня давайте полюбуемся на внучку Томаса О'Мэлли: красавицу Эвок!

Эвок – дочь Макалу и родная сестра Фуджитиво.
До двух лет Эвок жила в отчем зоопарке в Йиглаве (не на экспозиции), а весной 2024 года эта пушистая златоглазая валькирия переехала жить во Францию, в зоопарк Tregomeur.

Только посмотрите, какая она сказочная, роскошная, величественная и нордическая как её дедушка! Ещё один чудесный колючий одуванчик! 😻

Take a moment to admire the beautiful Ewok the Pallas's cat, the granddaughter of Thomas O'Malley!

Ewok is the daughter of Makalu and the full sister of Fuggitivo.
Until she turned two, Ewok lived in her home zoo in Jihlava (off-exhibit, away from eyes of the public), and in the spring of 2024, this fluffy, golden-eyed valkyrie moved to France, to the Tregomeur Zoo.

Just look at her — how magical, gorgeous, splendid, and Nordic she is, just like her grandfather! Another prickly little dandelion! 😻

Our heartfelt thanks go to Tregomeur Zoo and to Ewok's keeper personally for these wonderful photos ❤️

The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. For example, WhatsApp restricted the number of times a user could forward something, and developed automated systems that detect and flag objectionable content. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information.
