Deutsche Bundestag hat zu Beginn seiner Plenarsitzung an diesem Donnerstag einen Geschäftsordnungsantrag der AfD-Fraktion abgelehnt – den einzigen Tagesordnungspunkt, die erste Lesung der Änderung des Grundgesetzes, abzusetzen. Neben der AfD stimmte nur die Gruppe BSW für den Antrag. Bernd Baumann von der AfD eröffnete die Debatte und forderte Respekt für den Wählerwillen. Die Bürger hätten bereits „vor drei Wochen einen neuen Bundestag gewählt“.
Auch kritisierte er die Pläne zur Verfassungsänderung und neuen Schuldenaufnahme: „Sie wollen gleich dreimal die Verfassung ändern und uns eine Schuldenorgie aufzwingen.“ Abschließend sprach Baumann von einem beispiellosen „Missbrauch des Parlaments und der Verfassung“.
