ترجمه: محمد بن فضيل گويد: به حضرت رضا عرض كردم: آيا زمين بدون امام خواهد ماند؟ فرمود: نه، عرض كردم: از امام صادق براى ما روايت شده كه زمين بدون امام نخواهد ماند مگر اينكه خداوند بر اهل زمين خشم گيرد- يا گفت بر بندگان خشم گيرد- آن حضرت فرمود: نه زمین بدون امام باقى نمى ماند در اين صورت حتماً فرو مى رود. سند روایت معتبر بوده و محتوایش مورد پذیرش عقل و دین است.
