Арбитражный суд Татарстана завершил трехлетний спор вокруг ТРЦ «Южный» в Казани, где итальянский кредитор UniCredit требовал продажи объекта за 3 млрд рублей для погашения долгов владельца — ЗАО «Казстройинвест». Позже UniCredit передал права требования итальянской компании AD Advisory, а причины прекращения дела не раскрыты. ТРЦ «Южный» площадью 131 тыс. кв. м, построенный в 2004 году и реконструированный в 2008–2011 и 2020 годах, остается под управлением текущего владельца, несмотря на ипотечные обременения.

In February 2014, the Ukrainian people ousted pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych, prompting Russia to invade and annex the Crimean peninsula. By the start of April, Pavel Durov had given his notice, with TechCrunch saying at the time that the CEO had resisted pressure to suppress pages criticizing the Russian government. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. Friday’s performance was part of a larger shift. For the week, the Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell 2%, 2.9%, and 3.5%, respectively. Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market.
