За даними поліції, 46-річна Л. та її 6-річна дочка А. - члени сімʼї службовця ЗСУ, котрі проживали у квартирі місцевого церковного старости, загинули від ножових поранень. Після нападу ймовірний вбивця також підпалив приміщення, в якому вони перебували.
Спершу син Л. стверджував, що під час трагедії перебував у школі, але згодом зізнався у вбивстві. Наразі хлопець перебуває у закритому ювенальному центрі в Еверберзі.
Прокурорка Сара Каллеверт відзначила, що, за її інформацією, жахливе діяння сталося з причини побутової сварки, тож дані надалі перевірятимуть.
