Гусеничное прицепное хозяйство для американских ВМС
Немцы были большими любителями создавать самые разные приспособы для своей армии. В том числе это касалось прицепов. Так вот, у американцев тоже хватало подобного. В том числе среди аэродромного снаряжения.
Для грунтовых аэродромов требовалось своё оборудование, особенно на тихоокеанском ТВД. Обычные бомбовые тележки там не годились, ибо тут же засели бы. Поэтому было разработано вот такое чудо технической мысли - Skid, Torpedo and Bomb, Mark 6. Изюминкой конструкции были гусеничные тележки вместо обычных колес. Усилия, естественно, требовались большие, чем для обычной тележки, зато не провалится.
