There is a lot of Shitshow-iness going on in the current USMIL, and there are a lot of people currently trying to tie every bad thing to Bragg. This is a fast way to make yourself look like a moron to people who know anything about Bragg, which may be the purpose (getting people to share obviously ridiculous theories).

Bragg is enormous. Yes, it used to be the home of both 3rd and 7th SF Groups - but it isn’t anymore, except for one of them.

Yes, there is a PSYOPs unit there - but not the only one in the USMIL. Yes, there are SMUs there - but not the only ones.

It’s an enormous place, and there are a ton of different units there. As is the case with many large USMIL bases around the country.

There is someone who made a claim online that one of the Trump attemptees had visited Bragg 147 times - but he offered no evidence. There are many of us who could confirm if the places he went there showed potential nefarious or “dark side” connections, as we know the layout of the base, but no evidence was provided to back up those claims.

Yet many are running with it as if it were verified truth. Allowing the conversation to get hijacked by inaccuracies or red herrings can derail the entire search for truth, and is sometimes done purposely by those who don’t want anyone to get too close to the actual truth.

With the Vegas event, here’s just a handful of the oddities that we know so far:
-18 series makes an obviously sub-par payload in a vehicle that is one of the few that would contain the blast.

-Desert Eagle present, but seemingly not used at the hotel - this brings up questions of when it was fired and potentially even who was actually in the vehicle, as it has self-driving capabilities.
--Elon has dispatched a team to try to recover video from inside the car, so I’m eagerly awaiting what that shows.

-He had tried to reach out to multiple people in advance, asking them to help get a message out to as wide of an audience as possible.

-His “safety number” on Signal (used to verify that you’re actually talking to who you think you are) changed before the event (this happens when you change SIM cards, as in changing from a Germany-operable SIM to a US one), but changed again AFTER the event.
--This brings up the question of whether he was actually in the car, or if someone else had access to his Signal account. Either seems to be a valid option at this point.

-Family, friends, and unit members say he was a Trump supporter - this further supports the notion that the place & payload was meant to get attention, not do harm.

-He allegedly sent what is being deemed a “manifesto,” but isn’t really an accurate term for the email he sent, in advance.
--The email is linked in the same thread as the interview linked above from Shawn Ryan, and you can read it for yourself. It contains some pretty significant allegations.

-The email was sent via Proton Mail, which makes it difficult to be 100% certain that it came from him, even though it contains some bona fides that are verifiable (and some have been).
--Again, I know some people that knew him, and those confirmations seem to be accurate from what I can gather.

This story is far from over, and there are more questions than answers. I would caution trusting or giving too much credence to anyone, from any station/authority, who claims that they 100% know what in the world this whole thing “is” or what led to it at this point.

That’s my personal opinion and position on it for now. As the wise man once said, “we shall see.”

Macro takeaways/lessons from the week:
-2025 got off to a pretty rocky start. Let’s be honest, many of us expected the “crazy” to get ratched way past 11 before Trump could take office. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ve seen the end of it yet.

-If conservatives are good at anything, it’s shooting themselves in the foot and infighting. Discourse is good and healthy, purposely dividing common groups is not. It seems there was a deal struck between Trump and Johnson, so let’s see if something positive comes from today’s vote.

"The result is on this photo: fiery 'greetings' to the invaders," the Security Service of Ukraine wrote alongside a photo showing several military vehicles among plumes of black smoke. Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. And indeed, volatility has been a hallmark of the market environment so far in 2022, with the S&P 500 still down more than 10% for the year-to-date after first sliding into a correction last month. The CBOE Volatility Index, or VIX, has held at a lofty level of more than 30. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Investors took profits on Friday while they could ahead of the weekend, explained Tom Essaye, founder of Sevens Report Research. Saturday and Sunday could easily bring unfortunate news on the war front—and traders would rather be able to sell any recent winnings at Friday’s earlier prices than wait for a potentially lower price at Monday’s open.
