Рассуждая об экономике региона в условиях западных санкций, Игорь Кобзев заверил представителя главы РФ в том, что Иркутская область продолжает успешно осваивать выделенные инвестиции. Вместе с тем, региону требуется дополнительная помощь федерального центра.
Речь идет об энергодефиците на юге, транспортной логистике, развитии внутреннего туризма и ликвидации накопленного вреда экологии. Серышев отметил важность поставленных задач, резюмировав свое послание словами: «забота о людях — это главное».
