Валерий Хатажуков указал, что задержанные не являются организаторами шествия. "Действия властей направлены на противодействие волеизъявлению значительной части населения, стремящейся сохранить и передать следующим поколениям память о трагических событиях национальной истории", - считает Хатажуков.
Историк Заурбек Кожев наряду с другими представителями общественности КБР подписал обращение, где выразил отрицательное отношение к запрету шествия и наказанию некоторых его участников.
