الحسينية الحيدرية/محلة التل/طرف الحيدرية

أقدم حسينية بالعراق ومؤسسها السيد محمد آل السيد حيدر وهو أول من وضع هذا اللفظ أو الإصطلاح (الحسينية) وما قبلها كانت تسمى (تكايا).

بالإضافة لكونها حسينية تقام بها مجالس ذكر أهل البيت عليهم السلام فهي مدرسة دينية وحاضرة علمية قديمة، إذ كانت يؤمها معظم علماء البلدة لأخذ العلوم الحوزوية أو تدريسها.

ومما أنشده أحد الشعراء الكبار بحقها :

تراءت جنة فيها قصور
على الأقطار منها ضاء نور

وهذي روضة للعلم تزهو
وأنوار العلوم بها تنور
