هدف نویسنده در این کتاب اثبات این نکته است که شاهنامۀ فردوسی دارای آبشخوری نوشتاری بوده و مأخذ آن یعنی شاهنامۀ منثور ابومنصوری نیز به پیروی از سنّت کهن خداینامه‌نویسی، بر اساس آثار نوشتاری تألیف شده است. در پیوست این پژوهش نیز فهرستی از آثار از‌دست‌رفتۀ پهلوی و ترجمه‌های عربی و فارسی آنها بر اساس منابع کهن از سده‌های نخستین اسلامی فراهم آمده است. این فهرست نمایانگر وجود کتاب و کتابت در فرهنگ ساسانی است.

'Wild West' Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender.
