Литературная премия «Болдинская осень» существует с 2007 г. До 2021 года она была творческим конкурсом регионального масштаба. В 2021 г. в рамках празднования 800-летия Нижнего Новгорода премия вышла на всероссийский уровень.
Особенность премии – ориентированность на региональную составляющую конкурсных заявок. В произведениях должна быть отражена тематика регионов Российской Федерации (действие происходит в одном из субъектов страны и раскрывает его историю, настоящее, специфику).
Короткие списки всех номинаций будут объявлены 25 ноября 2024 года.
