"Транзит Европа-Азия" (TEA) – сухопутная линия интернета, соединяющая Японию-Китай-Россию-Европу. Ранее не находил информации об этой сухопутной магистрали, исправляюсь :)

Япония пользуется TEA для сокращения пинга до Европы с 260мс (США-Атлантика) до 200мс (Китай-РФ).

Пропускная способность, пишут, до 200 Гбит/с.

Иные подводные кабели (кроме части TEA Япония-Россия) для соединения с другими странами Россия как кажется практически не использует, похоже только разная мелочь: есть соединение с Японией и Южной Кореей (RJK, 1 Гбит), есть с Грузией через Чёрное Море, с Финляндией через пролив.

Примечательно, что отдельного кабеля между РФ и США нет – невероятно, но факт.

Так что идею "отключения РФ от интернета" столь же легко воплотить в жизнь (учитывая урон для сопредельных стран), как, не знаю, идею "отключение США от интернета". Хотя, конечно, здесь мы на грани соскальзывания в известное когнитивное искажение "не могут же они".

Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Since January 2022, the SC has received a total of 47 complaints and enquiries on illegal investment schemes promoted through Telegram. These fraudulent schemes offer non-existent investment opportunities, promising very attractive and risk-free returns within a short span of time. They commonly offer unrealistic returns of as high as 1,000% within 24 hours or even within a few hours.
