Святитель Иоасаф родился в Прилуках, бывшей Полтавской губернии, 8 сентября 1705 года, на праздник Рождества Пресвятой Богородицы. При Крещении назван Иоакимом. Он происходил из древнего благочестивого малоросийского рода Горленковых.
В 1744 г. Святейшеим Синодом был назначен наместником Свято-Троицкой Лавры.
2 июня 1748 г. в Петропавловском соборе Петербурга был хиротонисан во епископа Белгородского.
Святитель Иоасаф строго следил за благочестием и состоянием храмов,за правильностью совершения богослужения и особенно за нравственностью паствы. Особое внимание уделял образованию духовенства, правильному соблюдению ими устава и церковных традиций.
10 декабря 1754 г. святитель преставился. Прославление состоялось 4 сентября 1911 г.

And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred." The regulator said it has been undertaking several campaigns to educate the investors to be vigilant while taking investment decisions based on stock tips.
