По мнению политика, сегодня складывается недопустимая ситуация в системе образования: в ряде случаев зарплата учителей оказывается ниже минимального размера оплаты труда. Это принижает значение труда педагога и снижает престиж профессии, от которой напрямую зависит будущее страны.
Для решения проблемы коммунист выступил с предложением закрепить норму согласно которой минимальный оклад для учителей должен составлять не менее двух МРОТ, а все надбавки и стимулирующие выплаты должны начисляться сверх этой суммы.
