Мы уже не раз об этом писали, и ещё больше года назад предлагали задуматься над этой нормой закона, т.к. это может быть использовано как "оружие мягкой силы". Хорошо что есть депутаты и другие большие люди, которые обратили на это внимание. Однако чувство скептицизма нас не покидает - шансов, что данный законопроект пройдет по инициативе г-на Матвеева, по нашему мнению мало. Но чуть позже, он может быть переписан от "правильного" депутата и тогда, на волне миграционных инициатив "ЕдРа", может обрести реальную жизнь....

This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Although some channels have been removed, the curation process is considered opaque and insufficient by analysts. As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. Unlike Silicon Valley giants such as Facebook and Twitter, which run very public anti-disinformation programs, Brooking said: "Telegram is famously lax or absent in its content moderation policy."
