При жизни Маркса был опубликован лишь первый том сочинения, в то время как изначально был написан третий. Но так уж сложилось, что обычно, дальше первого тома у большинства марксистов дело не доходит, поскольку эту работу нельзя назвать простым чтением. Ни в коем случае не стоит начинать изучение марксизма с чтения «Капитала»! Сам Маркс советовал, даже первый том читать с конца (с первоначального накопления капитала), которое и впрямь читается как детектив.
