Поводом стал комментарий вв сообществе «Славянский Человек» во «ВКонтакте» следующий комментарий: «Русские колонизаторы при захвате земель коренных нерусских народов тоже насиловали, убивали, сжигали живьем. Фашисты». В комментарии суд обнаружил «негативную оценку группы лиц, объединенных по признакам расы, национальности и происхождения „русские колонизаторы“».
