Игорь Всеволодович Можейко (его настоящее имя) известен не только как писатель-фантаст, но и историк, доктор исторических наук, востоковед, сценарист и литературовед. В 1982 году он стал лауреатом Государственной премии СССР за сценарии к картине «Через тернии к звёздам» и мультфильму «Тайна третьей планеты».

Самое известное произведение Кира Булычева — цикл детских книг о девочке из будущего Алисе Селезневой, который выходил с 1965 по 2003 год. Имя героине он дал в честь своей дочери Алисы, родившейся в 1960 году. Игоря Селезнева, отца Алисы, автор писал с самого себя.

Всего Кир Булычев посвятил своей любимой героине 52 произведения.

Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands.
