Ich habe die Türkei vor der EU verteidigt. Denn die Türkei macht vieles richtig, wofür sie von der EU kritisiert wird: Im Ukraine-Krieg setzte sie auf Vermittlung, statt auf Eskalation. Und dass sie die Gender-Ideologie ablehnt, ist ihr gutes Recht.
Zu kritisieren wäre sie eher für ihre fremde Einflussnahme mittels DİTİB oder für optimierungsbedürftige Ergebnisse bei der Rückführung von Migranten. Beides sind aber auch Symptome unserer eigenen Schwäche und Dummheit.
