На заседании в субботу вечером Центральная избирательная комиссия поддержала решения избирательного совета Ильичевского округа, который отменил регистрацию кандидата на должность примара Ирины Волчук после обращения Службы Информации и безопасности и Главного инспектората полиции.
По мнению этих учреждений, есть обоснованное подозрение, что партия, выдвинувшая кандидата, использовала незадекларированные финансовые средства, происходящие из-за границы, или в финансовых отчетах представлены неполные данные о финансировании избирательной кампании.

Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. For example, WhatsApp restricted the number of times a user could forward something, and developed automated systems that detect and flag objectionable content. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea.
