Всероссийская акция «Монетная неделя» проходила с 22 сентября по 4 октября по инициативе Банка России. В ДНР вернули в оборот 40 тысяч монет на общую сумму около 500 тысяч рублей. Что интересно, номиналом 10 рублей сдали около 16 000 монет, а «пятаков» вернули всего две штуки.
ПСБ принимал монеты от 1 копейки до 25 рублей без комиссии в любом состоянии. Граждане могли обменять мелочь на банкноты, памятные монеты или зачислить средства на счет. Жители ДНР в основном выбирали памятные монеты 2025 года из недрагоценных металлов. Например, десятирублевые монеты серии «Города трудовой доблести» или монеты номиналом 50 рублей «80-летие Победы советского народа в Великой Отечественной войне 1941–1945 гг.» и «Саур-Могила».
