Ожидается, что после ввода в эксплуатацию месторождение станет четвертым по величине рудником редкоземельных металлов в мире за пределами Китая. Планируют добывать в т.ч. уран, который отправится в США.
Землевладельцы, обеспокоены потерей своих сельскохозяйственных земель, естественно выступают против. Но проект приоритетный и возражения уже не принимаются.
