В следующем году в Дальневосточном ФО появится новый межрегиональный тип транспорта - паром. Он сможет перевозить как людей, так и грузы. Приблизительная вместимость - 150 человек. Паром сможет перевозить машины, автобусы, грузовики и контейнеры. Маршрут для нового транспорта уже утверждён: Камчатка, Сахалин, Колыма, Приморский край, Курильские острова. В октябре стартуют ходовые испытания, если все пойдёт по плану - в июле 2023 года можно бронировать билеты.
В строительство было вложено 3,8 млрд рублей и эти деньги точно потрачены не зря. О важности транспортной связанности такого большого региона власти много говорят и начинают делать первые шаги: развивают местную авиацию и морские перевозки. Для округа это однозначно хорошие новости.
