🌬️ "جشـن دیگان" یا "خُرّم‌روز" در روز نخسـت از ماه دی برگزار می‌شده است. ماه دی را در زمان باستان "خور ماه" و روز نخسـت آن را "خوره روز" می‌نـامیـدنـد. دی یکـی از صفات ایـزد یکتا در میان زرتشتیـان بود و آن‌ها سـردتریـن ماه سال را به نام اهورامزدا نام‌گذاری کرده بودند.
☀️ زرتشتیـان روز نخست ماه دی را زمـان ولادت خورشیـد می‌دانستند و در بازه‌هایی از تاریخ این روز را به‌عنوان آغاز سال جدیـد جشن می‌گرفتنـد. این جشن را با نام جشن «دی دادار» نیز می‌شناسند. در این جشن مردم و پادشاهان لباس ساده می‌پوشیدند و با برابری و بی‌اعتنا به مقام‌شان در کنار هم به شادی و پایکوبی می‌پرداختند.
❄️ دستـور دادن نیز در ایـن روز ممنـوع بود و همه‌ی کارها از روی میل و رغبت انجام می‌شد. جنگ، شکار و خون‌ریزی نیز در این روز ممنـوع بودند. به‌دلیل قرار گرفتن روز جشن دیگان پس از شب یلـدا، مردم ایـران باستـان در ایـن روز به استراحت می‌پرداختند.
