مشاهد من العملية الأمنية التي نفّذها جهاز الاستخبارات العامة بالتعاون مع قيادة الأمن الداخلي في محافظة ريف دمشق، أثناء مداهمة موقع خلية تتبع لتنظيم داعش الإرهابي في منطقة معضمية القلمون شمال المحافظة، بعد متابعة دقيقة ورصد مستمر لتحركات العناصر الإرهابية.

أسفرت العملية عن إلقاء القبض على أحد أفراد الخلية، فيما لقي الثاني حتفه أثناء محاولته تفجير نفسه، وتوفي الثالث متأثراً بجراحه نتيجة الاشتباكات. كما عُثر على أسلحة وذخائر وحزام ناسف معدّ للتفجير، في إطار جهود الوحدات الأمنية لضمان أمن الوطن واستقرار المواطنين.
