نفذ فرع مكافحة الإرهاب في محافظة دمشق عملية محكمة، بعد متابعة ميدانية دقيقة ورصد متواصل، أسفرت عن إلقاء القبض على اللواء المجرم أكرم سلوم العبد الله، الذي تقلد عدة مناصب كان أبرزها منصب قائد الشرطة العسكرية في وزارة الدفاع بين عامي 2014 و2015، إبّان حكم النظام البائد، والمتورط في ارتكاب انتهاكات جسيمة بحق المعتقلين في سجن صيدنايا.
وأظهرت نتائج التحقيقات الأولية أن المجرم كان مسؤولاً مباشراً عن تنفيذ عمليات تصفية المعتقلين داخل سجن صيدنايا العسكري (السجن العسكري الأول) خلال الفترة التي تولى فيها قيادة الشرطة العسكرية.
أُحيل المجرم إلى الجهات المختصة لاستكمال التحقيقات، تمهيداً لعرضه على القضاء المختص لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقه.

Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise.
