Ректор Университета Косыгина Валерий Савельевич Белгородский выступил с приветственным словом, подчеркнув роль РИА в развитии технологий.
Основной доклад представил президент РИА Борис Владимирович Гусев. А с докладом о вызовах отрасли выступил руководитель секции текстильной и лёгкой промышленности Константин Эдуардович Разумеев.
Мероприятие подтвердило ведущую роль академии в инженерной науке и её международный авторитет.
