Главный инструмент в нашем ансамбле – виела, её можно назвать "бабушкой скрипки". Она, как правило, играет партию тенора, от которого все голоса были сочинены и на который ориентируются исполнители в ансамбле.

Оригинальных инструментов XIV века не сохранилось, и восстанавливают их по богатой иконографии и множественным упоминаниям в письменных источниках. На XIV век приходится расцвет этого инструмента, когда виела наравне с цитолью была самым популярным инструментом и считалась инструментом совершенным.

Инструмент Дарьи Маглёваной сделан в 2010 мастером Марко Салерно из Рима и ориентируется на чуть более поздние образцы.
