امروز ١٠ امرداد برابر با پايان "چله تموز" است. چله تموز با درازترين روز سال يعنى اول تيرماه آغاز و تا ١٠ امرداد دنباله دارد. در ايران باستان جشن چله تابستان يا چله تموز را خجسته می‌دانستند.
شاید یکی از آموزه‌های گذشته از نیاکان‌مان که به دلیل مشکلات و گرفتاری‌های زندگی امروزین بیش از هر زمان دیگری به آن نیاز داریم، همین جشن‌های ملی است؛ همین بهانه‌های کوچک برای شادمانه زیستن.
