За несколько посещений я объехал почти всё озеро по кругу и могу с уверенностью сказать: не торопитесь ехать в город Комо — есть места намного симпатичнее и интереснее.
Если вы путешествуете без машины, обратите внимание на восточную сторону острова — там проходит железнодорожная линия Милан — Лекко — Сондрио — Тирано, а электрички по ней следуют раз в полчаса-час. Посмотреть расписание и купить билеты можно на сайте Trenord. Кстати, с этой стороны удобно продолжить путь в швейцарские Альпы — об этом расскажу подробно позже.
