Индийский шахматист не являлся рейтинг-фаворитом супертурнира в Праге, но уверенно прошел всю дистанцию, не потерпев ни одного поражения, и прибавил 12 пунктов рейтинга. В настоящий момент Аравинд поднялся на 14-ю строчку мирового рейтинг-листа, сравнявшись с другим индийским гроссмейстером – Вишвантаном Анандом.
2-4 места в Праге разделили Аниш Гири, Вэй И и Рамешбабу Прагнанадха – именно в таком порядке они расположились в итоговой таблице.
