Музей гвоздарей и приход храма проделали большую работу по сохранению памяти о новомученике в селе Михайловском. Собрана информация из архивов и среди его родственников, написана икона, ежегодно 8 декабря, в день памяти Александра Вершинского, совершаются службы.
