Вот уж дыра так дыра! Гигантская воронка в городе Мирный (Якутия).

Именно здесь добывали большую часть алмазов России.

Геологи обнаружили месторождение в 1950-х и отправили в столицу шифровку: «Закурили трубку мира, табак отличный». Отсюда и появилось название месторождения — Мир.

Разработку, а заодно и строительство поселка Мирный начали через пару лет: он стихийно разрастался пропорционально воронке и со временем стал городом.

Сейчас карьер затоплен. «Алросе» пришлось законсервировать рудник из-за аварии в... подробнее на канале: Северный взгляд

Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations.
