Более 1500 тонн песка превратили в произведения искусства мастера России, Белоруссии и других стран.

Композиции этого года посвящены защитникам Отечества и подвигу Ленинграда в блокадное время. Скульпторы создали из песка образы поезда Победы на Белорусском вокзале, Дороги Жизни, Женского лица Победы и другие работы по мотивам знаменитых кинофильмов о войне.
