🔹Заявки на участие в ДЭГ на выборах президента России подали 1,45 млн избирателей. Ещё 430 тыс. заявлений поступило через сервис «Мобильный избиратель» для голосования по месту нахождения. Приём заявлений будет продолжаться до 11 марта.

In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. "There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices.
