وعندما كان الصحابة رضوان الله عليهم يقاسون العذاب واشتكوا لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم, ضرب لهم مثلاً من قصص المؤمنين وبشرهم "والله ليتِمن اللَّه هذا الأَمر حتى يسِير الرَّاكِبُ مِنْ صنْعاءَ إِلَى حَضْرمْوتَ لاَ يخافُ إِلاَّ اللهَ والذِّئْبَ عَلَى غنَمِهِ، ولكِنَّكُمْ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ" وقد كان
بشّرهم وهم محاصرين, بشّرهم وهم يعذبون! حتى ان البعض قالوا "كان محمد يعدنا أن نأكل كنوز كسرى وقيصر ، وأحدنا اليوم لا يأمن على نفسه أن يذهب إلى الغائط"
﴿وإذ يقول المنافقون والذين في قلوبهم مرض ما وعدنا الله ورسوله إلا غرورا﴾
فأكل المؤمنون من كنوز كسرى وخسئ المنافقون!
تعلمت من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الاستبشار والتوكل على الله والصبر قد يكون بعض الصحابة لم يروا الشام وفارس واليمن لكن أولادهم هم كانوا الفاتحين, كانوا الفاتحين بصبر ويقين أبائهم.
