Для того чтобы при внезапном включении РЭБ в непосредственной близости от антенн датчика - не сжечь сам датчик 2. В ручном режиме, чтобы добиться такой чувствительности при которой, будет проще определить направление на источник радиосигнала. Для тех случаев, когда источник очень мощный и находится близко, настолько, что эффект направленной антенны не может работать как хочется.
