Oscar van der Weide is leaving the position of KPO Project Execution Director. He has held this position since 2021.
Oscar has been with Shell and its subsidiaries since 1990. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of General Manager for Digital Projects at Shell Projects & Technology in Bangalore, India. During his career, Oscar held senior positions in Shell subsidiaries in the Netherlands, UK, Nigeria, India and Kazakhstan.
The PetroCouncil expresses its gratitude to Oscar for his cooperation, support of local market initiatives and the general openness to the market.

Multiple pro-Kremlin media figures circulated the post's false claims, including prominent Russian journalist Vladimir Soloviev and the state-controlled Russian outlet RT, according to the DFR Lab's report. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market. Groups are also not fully encrypted, end-to-end. This includes private groups. Private groups cannot be seen by other Telegram users, but Telegram itself can see the groups and all of the communications that you have in them. All of the same risks and warnings about channels can be applied to groups. Soloviev also promoted the channel in a post he shared on his own Telegram, which has 580,000 followers. The post recommended his viewers subscribe to "War on Fakes" in a time of fake news.
