Власти РФ ужесточили контроль над цифровыми коммуникациями, введя запрет на использование популярных зарубежных мессенджеров — Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber, Signal, Discord и др. — в деловой переписке в госсекторе, финансовых организациях и компаниях связи.
📑 Согласно Постановлению № 1119 и новым законам № 584-ФЗ и № 41-ФЗ, вступившим в силу в 2023 и 2025 годах, передача персональных данных, финансовых документов и служебной информации через такие приложения теперь противозаконна.
🚫В чёрный список Роскомнадзора попали: Telegram WhatsApp Viber Discord Microsoft Teams Skype for Business Snapchat Threema WeChat
За нарушения предусмотрены штрафы: 30–50 тыс. руб. для должностных лиц 100–700 тыс. руб. для юридических лиц

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications. Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike.
