Мариинский театр во главе с маэстро Валерием Гергиевым преподнес очередной подарок жителям Северной Осетии.
Фестиваль «Мариинский-Владикавказа» вновь стал настоящим праздником для ценителей классической музыки, а открытие третьей площадки театра во Владикавказе – важным событием в культурной жизни республики.
Особенно примечательно то, что новое культурное пространство появилось в старейшем в России здании бывшего кинотеатра «Комсомолец». Мариинский театр смог сохранить его от разрушения и вдохнуть в него новую жизнь!
Так было и со зданиями филармонии, и Театра оперы и балета, ставшими филиалами Мариинского театра в Северной Осетии.
Невозможно переоценить вклад Валерия Абисаловича в развитие не только культурной, но и социально-экономической сферы нашей республики. В этом я убедился лично, будучи главой региона. Поэтому по праву в 2019 году маэстро стал первым Почетным гражданином Северной Осетии!

Ukrainian forces successfully attacked Russian vehicles in the capital city of Kyiv thanks to a public tip made through the encrypted messaging app Telegram, Ukraine's top law-enforcement agency said on Tuesday. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users.
