🔹درمانا: کمیته مشورتی سازمان غذا و دارو آمریکا (FDA) روز پنجشنبه توصیه کرد که آزمایش خون شرکت گواردانت برای تشخیص سرطان کولورکتال توسط FDA تائید شود
🔹این کمیته به اتفاق آرا رای داد که مزایای آزمایش Shield برای سرطان کولورکتال از خطرات آن بیشتر است
🔹پیش‌بینی می‌شود که FDA در اواخر سال جاری درباره این آزمایش تصمیم نهایی خود را بگیرد
🔹در صورت تائید، آزمایش SHIELD به دومین آزمایش خون تائید شده برای تشخیص سرطان کولورکتال در آمریکا پس از آزمایش Epi proColon شرکت اپی ژنومیکس که در ۲۰۱۶ تائید شد، تبدیل می‌شود
🔹هم‌اکنون کولونوسکوپی، آزمایش استاندارد طلایی برای سرطان کولون است اما میزان پیروی از آن به دلیل تهاجمی بودن کولونوسکوپی، کم است. آزمایش‌های تشخیصی مبتنی بر خون می‌توانند راحتی بیشتری را برای غربالگری سرطان کولون به ارمغان بیاورند

And this seems like an excuse to kick the can further down the road still and not do too much too soon."
