Национальный музей азиатского искусства Смитсоновского института США передал Государственному управлению по охране культурного наследия КНР две шелковые рукописи царства Чу периода Сражающихся царств (475-221 гг. до н.э.). В настоящее время это единственные известные шелковые манускрипты этой эпохи.
Артефакты были похищены из захоронения эпохи царства Чу в городе Чанша провинции Хунань в 1942 году, а в 1946 году были незаконно вывезены в США.
