Это первый визит египетского министра в Россию в новой должности. Антон Алиханов подчеркнул, что Египет остаётся крупнейшим торговым партнёром России в Африке.
«Несмотря на внешние вызовы и ситуацию в мире, российско-египетский товарооборот в последние годы показывает уверенный рост. В прошлом году он увеличился на 16%. В текущем году положительная динамика сохранилась: по итогам первого полугодия оборот вырос на треть. При этом российский бизнес проявляет высокую заинтересованность в расширении присутствия на египетском рынке», — подчеркнул глава Минпромторга России.

And this seems like an excuse to kick the can further down the road still and not do too much too soon."
