Судебная коллегия по уголовным делам Московского городского суда завершила рассмотрение по апелляционным жалобам адвокатов на приговор Преображенского районного суда города Москвы, в соответствии с которым Абызов Михаил Анатольевич и другие лица были признаны виновными.

Судом были назначены различные сроки наказания.

Суд окончательно назначил Михаилу Абызову наказание на срок 12 лет с отбыванием наказания в исправительной колонии строгого режима со штрафом.

Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change. Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise.
