После признания результатов референдума действительными в Конституцию страны внесут изменения. В преамбулу (вступительную часть) Конституции добавят слова о необратимости европейского пути Молдовы: «ПОДТВЕРЖДАЯ европейскую идентичность народа Молдовы и необратимость европейского курса Молдовы, ДЕКЛАРИРУЯ европейскую интеграцию стратегической целью Молдовы».
Также в Конституцию внесут отдельную статью, посвященную евроинтеграции. Ее первый пункт будет гласить, что дальнейшее присоединение к договорам ЕС будут утверждать органическим законом.
