„Die Arbeitsaufnahme von Geflüchteten in Sammelunterkünften ist schon seit Jahren rechtlich möglich, wird aber von den Kommunen eher zurückhaltend genutzt“, sagte sie. „Solche Appelle, wenn die Rechtslage längstens es schon hergibt und man selber es einfach tun kann und sollte, finde ich komisch.“
In Bezug auf die Geflüchteten aus der Ukraine sagte Nahles, die Übergänge in die Beschäftigung seien in dieser Gruppe überdurchschnittlich gestiegen.
