В период с 18 по 21 ноября 2024 г. в штаб-квартире МАГАТЭ (г. Вена, Австрия) состоялось 49-е заседание Комитета по нормам безопасности транспортировки (TRANSSC)
На мероприятии обсуждались вопросы разработки и пересмотра норм безопасности МАГАТЭ по безопасности транспортирования радиоактивных материалов, а также по ряду других направлений.
Участниками были рассмотрены и одобрены проекты документов:
🔹 DPP DS556 «Safety Guide on the Safe Use of Unsealed Sources» (новый документ); 🔹 DS527 «Criteria for Use in Preparedness and Response for a Nuclear or Radiological Emergency» (пересмотр документа GSG-2); 🔹 DS537 «Safety Demonstration of Innovative Technologies in Reactor Designs» (новый документ); 🔹 DS539 «Licensing Process for Nuclear Installations» (пересмотр документа GSG-13); 🔹 DS547 «Regulatory Experience Feedback Management» (новый документ); 🔹 DS543 «Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material, 20XX Edition» (пересмотр документа SSR-6 (Rev.1). ✅ Также на заседании TRANSSC были одобрены для представления в Комиссию МАГАТЭ по нормам безопасности проекты документов по физической ядерной безопасности: 🔹 DPP NST072 «Nuclear Security Fundamentals on Objective and Essential Elements of a State's Nuclear Security Regime»; 🔹 DPP NST073 «Nuclear Security Recommendations on Physical Protection of Nuclear Material and Nuclear Facilities»; 🔹 DPP NST074 «Nuclear Security Recommendations on Radioactive Material and Associated Facilities»; 🔹 DPP NST075 «Nuclear Security Recommendations on Nuclear and Other Radioactive Material out of Regulatory Control».

"We're seeing really dramatic moves, and it's all really tied to Ukraine right now, and in a secondary way, in terms of interest rates," Octavio Marenzi, CEO of Opimas, told Yahoo Finance Live on Thursday. "This war in Ukraine is going to give the Fed the ammunition, the cover that it needs, to not raise interest rates too quickly. And I think Jay Powell is a very tepid sort of inflation fighter and he's not going to do as much as he needs to do to get that under control. And this seems like an excuse to kick the can further down the road still and not do too much too soon." Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. Interested investors will be asked to directly message the representatives to begin investing in the various investment packages offered. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app.
