Частная компания Chevron Direct Investment Fund Ltd (CDIF) заключила инвестиционное соглашение с казахстанской энергетической компанией в сфере возобновляемых источников энергии в Мангистауской области ТОО "СП "КТ Редкометальная компания" на сумму 19 миллионов долларов.

Инвестиции предусматривают объединение трех ветроэлектростанций в Мангистауской области: ВЭС Форт-Шевченко, ВЭС Сервис и ВЭС Жангиз. Целью данной сделки является создание крупнейшей группы ветроэлектростанций в регионе с общей мощностью выработки электроэнергии 58,6 МВт.

В планах полная модернизация ВЭС Форт-Шевченко.
